Injured in a Car Accident in Clark County, NV? Here's what you do if you get in a crash.

Las Vegas attorney Judah Zakalik from the law firm of Peters and Associates explains what to do if you get in a car accident.

Most important tip? After checking for injuries and/or calling 911/311, USE YOUR CELL PHONE’S CAMERA!

Any time you’re in a car crash you want to pull out your phone, take pictures of ALL vehicles involved (whether they’re damaged or not) and the surrounding environment. In addition, rather than handwriting license plate numbers, drivers license info, and insurance information, USE YOUR CAMERA! A photo can’t have typos!

In addition, you can use your camera while still on the scene to record a “video diary” of everything you remember about the accident.

All of this documentation can help maximize your insurance settlement, and/or protect you if the other driver decides to sue.

Remember: If you’re injured, seek medical attention immediately. Cameras should only be used when safe to do so.

If you’re injured in a car accident, call an attorney. The Law Firm of Peters and Associates treats every client like family, and understands the importance of customer service.
